RETREATS

Our retreats are total submergence experiences that cleanse, rejuvenate and build body, mind, social and spiritual health.  They take place in small groups (maximum six people) in the pristine Kootenay Region of British Columbia, Canada and are all-inclusive 5-night getaways.

Retreats are designed to provide a transformative experience for participants in the following areas as described below.  If you are interested in incorporating a 36-hour water fast in the middle of your retreat, ask about our 7-day program.  For a sample 6-day retreat program and prices scroll down.

Body

  • A whole-foods, plant-based diet is thoughtfully catered to cleanse the body, shed unwanted weight and reduce chronic illness symptoms.

  • 2-hrs of daily group physical activity including indoor and outdoor activities to build cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility and agility.

  • 13-hrs of nightly Intermittent fasting (7 pm to 8 am) to allow the body time to rest and rejuvenate.  

 

Mind

  • Daily 20-minute mindfulness meditation group sessions

  • Daily 1-hr group, couple or individual counselling sessions will be provided to identify cognitive hangups and to develop new pathways of thinking that align with living your best life.

  • Daily 1-hr seminars exposing participants to the powerful pillars of positive psychology

 

Relationships

  • Trust is the foundation of all healthy relationships.  One of the weekly seminars will be dedicated to the discussion and exploration of the role of trust in your life and your relationships.  This will be an invaluable opportunity for more satisfying, secure and life-giving relationships.

  • Opportunities for meaningful connection and fun with your partner or other group members will be abundant, as well as time for just yourself if you prefer to read, journal, nap, engage in creative activities or just do nothing.

Spirit

  • Nurturing and strengthening spiritual well-being is weaved throughout each day and each activity.

  • Prayers of gratitude and connecting with our higher purpose, our Creator and the greater world around us are brought into our physical, psychological and social activities.

  • For groups that want to engage in spiritual connection together, space and time for evening prayer and worship will be gladly provided.
